About the Event
Bringing Balance to our lives has become increasingly important as we realize that our own wellbeing is paramount to our mental, physical, & spiritual health.
This New Moon (4/30) is in the sign of Taurus, so, matters related to values, feelings of worthiness, desire for safety and security, comfort and familiarity will be a strong focus. We will tune inwards and allow the space for ourselves to feel cared for and supported by our own personal practice, increasing our feelings of self-worth and bringing more balance into our lives.
We will begin our class with a cup of calming hot herbal tea intended to relax the nervous system. We will add infused honey for medicinal (and flavorful) benefits by Danni of Selenite & Sage as we enter into the space.
Then, Jessie of 716 Yoga with Jessie will get you settled into a laying pose while Dr. Stefanie from Seneca Springs Wellness applies acupuncture needles to specific acupuncture points. These points will assist in calming mind & spirit, promoting deep relaxation, and bringing balance to the body systems. Jessie will provide a relaxing and centering guided meditation while Danni begins to fill the space with the sound of the bowls.
After the needles are removed and we come back into our bodies we will continue with additional restorative inspired poses, held for a minute or more each, to the rich sounds of the Tibetan singing bowls.
Please bring a mat, blankets, 2 bath towels, & any props you need to find a comfortable practice.
Tea will be available for purchase after class.
This group is scheduled for an hour and a half and will be held at Studio B Fitness in West Seneca.
